Training mental health professionals about this valued cohort of our population is vital to ensuring these military members and their families experience a healthy transition from service to civilian life.
There are two different sections to explore:
Give an Hour Admin @Mental Health Providers Training : The Ethical and Effective Practitioner: Lessons for Private Practice Friday March 31, 2017 Please join Give an Hour and United Health Foundation for a day of training on how to ethically and effectively operate your private practice. This conference is ideal for mental health providers who would like to open or grow a trauma-informed private practice, and anyone who is overwhelmed by ever-changing digital ethics. This complementary training is limited to mental health providers and graduate students, and includes CEUs, breakfast, and lunch. There is no charge for the ample parking. This lecture will provide an overview of cannabis, including associated consequences and benefits stemming from its use. Give an Hour Admin @Mental Health Providers Training : This year, Army OneSource, in collaboration with the Center for Deployment Psychology, has assisted in the planning efforts of a FREE webinar series during Joining Forces Wellness Week 2016. These free training opportunities will be offered each day of the week and are open to all service providers and students who serve the Military population. In recognition of Veterans Day, these hour-long presentations will feature subject matter experts from medical schools, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense and others who will focus on topics regarding the unique health care needs of Service members, their Families, Veterans and caregivers. Women filled approximately 10 percent of all positions among deployed forces in recent conflicts.
